Day Two - Rome

Our first port of call was Civitavecchia, which is about an hour from Rome. Our excursion started with a bus drive into the city (which Jack was SUPER excited about). We began at the Vatican and then went to see the Coliseum and Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. The only disappointing thing was that it was SUPER crowded, as it was the Monday after Easter, and most Europeans have the day off (and I think they all decided to come to Rome!). We did have some great food and gelato! We were so thankful for a beautiful, sunny day. We arrived back at the ship around 5pm and had another fabulous dinner. It was a FULL first day!

Having fun!
