Some recent finds....

One of my favorite shops in the area is a small, locally owned, antique store.  European Country Chic is located in Landstuhl, and is only open a few days a week.  The owner spends Sunday, Monday and Tuesday going to antique markets throughout Germany, France and England, and finds some amazing things.  I've purchased a few of my favorites, and hope to buy a couple of more before we move.

Storms Rolling In

A few weeks ago it was super hot and humid (by German standards), and when a cold front moved through it brought some amazing storms.  It was neat to see them roll through, and even better was the cooler temperatures they brought!

Paris in a Day

The Friday after the last day of school is always a family day at Ramstein, so we decided to head to Paris for the day.  The main purpose of this trip was to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower.  We've been to Paris several times, but never took the time to stand in line and buy tickets.  This time I planned ahead and purchased our tickets online.  It saved a ton of time, and whining by young children.  :)  Of the three children Jack was the most excited.  When we arrived at the top he exclaimed, "Daddy, that's a whole lot of cities!"

The kids also had a blast running around the Garden de Tuileries.  The love the children's area and all the ponds with ducks.  It was a beautiful day!

Last day of school!

Isabella's last day of school was today.  Most kids would be excited about school being out for the summer, but not my Isabella.  She (and all her little friends) were crying when I picked her up.  Ah, girls.  :)  We are so thankful that she had such a wonderful year.  She made some fabulous friends and did outstanding in her academics.

Outside her school.

We enjoyed some eis downtown to celebrate
the start of summer vacation!

A Disney Showcase

Isabella's Spring ballet performance was a collection of dances set to Disney music.  It was a great show and Isabella had a blast dancing to "Let's Go Fly a Kite" from Mary Poppins.
