Charlotte's first haircut

Charlotte's hair had officially become out of control.  Between the super dry atmosphere here and the out of control wind, her hair was one big knot.  Her personality is not conducive to sitting still for me to brush her hair out more than once a day.

Happy Birthday Isabella!

Our precious Isabella turned 8 today!  She is such an amazing young lady, incredibly loyal, caring, and excited to grow in her faith.  She loves to read, play with her American Girl Dolls, and any type of craft.  She is doing an amazing job in school, and we couldn't be prouder!

It was fun having Nana and Poppy with us to help celebrate!  We had a restful morning and then headed to Bonzai for lunch (Isabella's choice).

Spring Break

We had a great spring break.  Nana and Poppy came down to visit for a couple of weeks, and we all headed to San Antonio for a few days.  It was fun seeing all the sights, eating some yummy food, and visiting with Uncle Ruben, Aunt Cynthia and Caleb as well.

Before we headed to San Antonio we enjoyed a visit to Frontier Texas.  It's a great interactive museum here in Abilene, and the kids LOVED it!
