Today was Isabella's last day of Kindergarten. Where in the world did this school year go? Words cannot express how thankful we are for her teacher and staff at her school. Her Kindergarten teacher reminded me a lot of my Mom, which helped when sending Isabella off each day. She grew so much both academically and socially. Before the school year started, we really wondered if we were doing the right thing by sending her to a military public school, but the Lord truly confirmed in our hearts that she was exactly where she needed to be. .
It was sad for her to say goodbye to her classmates that will be moving back to the States this summer. She was actually quite emotional saying goodbye to her teacher, which I told her was just fine and showed how much she enjoyed her year.
Jack and Charlotte had goodbyes to say as well. Every afternoon a group of us Kindergarten Moms and younger siblings would wait for the kids to be dismissed. Jack loved running around and playing with the "the girls." :)
