100 Days of School

Isabella's school really emphasizes the 100th Day of School.  This year each student had to come up with a way to symbolize 100 days.  After doing some research (pinterest) she decided that she'd like to make a wreath out of 100 crayons.  Here's her final product.

Ski Trip!

This past weekend we headed down to Garmisch to ski.  Isabella and Jack were so excited about trying it for the first time!  Thankfully their colds were almost gone, and they were feeling better.  Steve took them to a kinder ski school two mornings.  The first day wasn't as fun as Isabella and Jack thought it would be, but the second day went much better.  When they came back to the lodge the second day Isabella proclaimed that she was going to be a great ski champion, and Jack proclaimed that he WAS a great ski champ.  :)  In the afternoons the kids rested and Steve went back to the slopes.

Charlotte and Mommy hung out at the hotel, walking all around and playing.  It was nice spending some one-on-one time together.

Happy Valentine's Day!

The kids all had a fun Valentine's Day!  Isabella passed out her Valentine's at school and had a little party.  Unfortunately, Daddy had to work late so he wasn't able to join in the festivities.  We also had a busy day getting ready for our ski trip this weekend!

Happy Birthday Charlotte!

Yesterday was Charlotte's 2nd birthday! The poor thing has had a nasty cold, but it didn't stop her from having fun! Isabella was off from school so it was a relaxed day, and we enjoyed celebrating her day as a family. Of course it had to be a Minnie Mouse theme, which is her favorite thing right now.

She had her two-year well baby check up today. The doctor said that she's doing great. She is in the 11% for weight and height (23 lbs, 11 ozs.) She's definitely tiny but mighty! She is starting to say a ton or words, and if she doesn't know what word to use she'll just yell. It was cute at first, but we're now really encouraging her to use words. :) She has to be doing what her sister and brother are doing or she gets quite upset. Her favorite time of day is when Daddy comes home. She doesn't like to watch TV, or really play with toys. Her preferred activity is dumping toys and then running off.  She does enjoy reading books as long as she gets to turn the pages.  She's a typical baby of the family.  :)
