Have Passports, Will Travel!

We ALL have passports now!

And Charlotte is no longer a baby without a country. She also received her Birth Certificate today that certifies that she is a US Citizen as of May 26, 2011. My only question is, what country was she a citizen of for the first 3 1/2 months of her life?

One of the few things I dislike about parenting...

POTTY TRAINING! I wish I could pay someone to come to our house and teach Jack to go nicely in the potty, without making a mess, and be done with it. I guess that's why I've been putting it off. I keep making excuses, but I know it's time. So, as it's a three day weekend for Daddy, today is the day it begins. (One of my main excuses to Steve was that it was too difficult to do it while feeding Charlotte all the time). As my brother says, "it's a process, not an event."

The football is never far away these days.

And when the TV show became too boring for him, out came the IPad (always sure to keep him entertained)!

Charlotte's Stats

Charlotte had her 4 month check up today, and she did fabulously! She now weighs 13 lbs, 11 ozs (38%), and is 24 inches "tall" (27%). The doctor is please with her development, so Charlotte decided to bless her by peeing all over her uniform. I felt so bad, but I did warn the doctor that her diaper had been off for awhile at that point. :)

We try to not "compare" the kids, but find it interesting to remember back to when Isabella and Jack were both 4 months old.

Charlotte today (she was not in the mood to smile...too many shots) :(

Isabella 14lbs, 14 ozs and 24 3/4 inches long.

Jack was already a linebacker at 17 lbs, 15 ozs and 25 inches long.

4 Months Old!

Charlotte is 4 months old today!

What have you been up to Charley?

-You squeal A LOT!
-You love being around people, especially your sister and brother.
-You don't seem to need near the amount of sleep that Isabella and Jack did at your age, but you do sleep nicely through the night.
-You are trying so hard to turn over
-You prefer your thumb more than your paci.
-You really enjoy "sitting up" vs. being on your back.
-You eat about 28 ounces each day, and we're excited to find out how much you weigh at your 4 month check up on Thursday.

We have a thumb sucker!

Notice the discarded paci.
