No Isabella, we can't trade Jack in.

Last week was a LONG week. The week that would never end. By Friday Isabella was asking me to put Jack in his cage, and wondering if we could trade Jack in for either a dog or cat or even a sister. I even caught her, in her words, "petting" Jack on the head. Also in her words, "boys are bad, they both start with the letter b Mommy." Her Daddy will be glad to hear that...not the part about trading Jack in, but the part about her not liking boys.

We're climbing the walls!

Two days in the house is MORE than enough! Yesterday was fun...today I was just looking for things to do with the kids to keep them happy and out of trouble. I could have posted pictures of Isabella sledding, but those would have been of her screaming and crying because she was 1) Cold, 2) scared that Mommy would push her into the pond, 3) Mommy was going too fast. Daddy.come.home! There HAS to be school tomorrow!

This morning Isabella made everything hearts while Jack trashed the living room with toys. (I'm smiling sarcastically.)

Another fun project was paining with marbles. To complete this project you put paint into a bowl along with one or two marbles. Cover the marbles in the paint and place them in a paper bag that has a plain piece of paper at the bottom. Shake the bag from side to side and the marbles will leave the paint on the paper. Do this several times. It makes a really cool design.

Now this is what I'm talking about...

I've been waiting all winter for a good snow storm. And we're expecting drifts as high as Isabella tomorrow when the wind kicks up!

I knew it was going to go fast...

Steve's 15 days of R & R went WAY TOO FAST! I knew the time would go quick. We had a WONDERFUL time together. The kids did lots of wrestling, Mommy did lots of sleeping, we celebrated Christmas again, and even managed to fit in a quick trip to Houston. I wish I had more pictures of the 2 weeks, but I was having too much fun to stop and get the camera out.

Isabella crawled into my bed this morning for her usual Monday morning routine of an early morning dose of Little Einsteins. She looked at me with her still sleepy eyes and said that she missed Daddy. I DO TOO!

We now start the countdown till we head back to Texas where we'll meet up with Daddy.
