Her first "meal"
We started Charlotte on solids yesterday, and so far it's going like it always does...slow. She has done better today at keeping the food in her mouth. We'll add applesauce to her meal plan on Sunday, which is much better just plain rice cereal.

Catching Up
We have had a BUSY August so far! The first part of the month some family from England visited. It was wonderful having Uncle Jim & Aunt Jean, as well as Charlton, Claire and their girls here. Steve was able to show them his airplane, we visited Heidelberg, the boys played golf, and Claire & I has pedicures. The kids, of course, had a blast playing together.

The day after Claire, Charlton & the Girls left we headed to that States for a short visit. We met up with my parents & Nan, along with Steve's Mom, Grandmother and Aunt in Mississippi where Steve had sim training. We stayed in a nice condo with a great pool. It was hot, but we enjoyed the air conditioning. We had some wonderful seafood, as well as some favorites that we can't get in Germany. Steve and I were able to go on a couple of dates while my parents spoiled the kids. It was so hard to say good-bye, but we look forward to our next visit!

Blue shell crab.
Isabella busy crazy and goofy. She had such a fabulous time!
Jack being goofy while sitting next to Beckham. Jack LOVED to tease Beckham, which Beckham did not appreciate!
Great Nana with the kids.
Nana and Poppy.
The kids at the beach. The sand was beautiful, the water was not!
Charlotte turned 6 months old while we were there!
We found out that Jack LOVES the water and is willing and daring enough to try anything. He HAD to be watched every second!
Isabella is more like her Mommy...cautious!
