Strasbourg

We had a fabulous day in Strasbourg, enjoying the last of the Christmas market.  The whole city was decorated beautifully!  We enjoyed visiting the cathedral, walking around the Christmas Market stalls sipping on some gluhwein, eating some wonderful crepes with hot chocolate and cappuccino, and taking in all the festive sights, and going to a great French sweet shop.

The Nutcracker...Take Two

Isabella had her second performance of the Nutcracker tonight.  It was another great show!  The fun part was that Grams was here to see her. 

Christmas Day

We had a wonderful Christmas day, filled with yummy food and lots of lego building.  :)  We started the morning off with some Cinnabon and then opened gifts.  We had a great Christmas lunch, but the kids really just wanted to play with their new toys.

Christmas Sunday

It's always fun to pick out Christmas dresses for the girls, and even more fun to see how excited they are when they get to wear them on Christmas Sunday.  This year we bought the girls' dresses in Salzburg at a quaint little children's clothing store.  And Jack made sure that we knew that he was handsome, not pretty!  :)

Snow!

We have had a few days of snow and it's beautiful!  I LOVE how everything looks with a dusting of snow.  I will miss it so much much when we move next fall.  Of course the kids have fun playing in it, we just have to keep Jack from licking it off the driveway (such a boy)!
 

Playgroup

One thing that Jack and I look forward to each week is Friday playgroups at our house.  It's a great chance for he and his little friends to get together and play, and a fun time for us Moms too.
