Isabella loves bridges. She always calls the water running underneath a moat.
As usual, Jack was a great boy! He loves just strolling around and people watching.
Isabella playing tour guide.
She walked the ENTIRE day! Not one second in the stroller. And, on the way home she asked if we were going on a walking tonight. I wish I had a tenth of her energy!
Isabella will find a rock to pick up anywhere she goes.
Isabella on a Native American bed. She thought it was cool that the "mattress" was made out of cattails.
Isabella's favorite part was the Little Pioneers Homestead. There was a barn, garden and log cabin full of hands on experiences including a "milking cow" hen house and fire. It was a wonderful way to show what daily rural life was like in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
On the wagon.
Bella wanted to be a passenger.
Gathering up the eggs.
Milking the "cow."
She actually caught on quite quickly how to milk. I'll add this to the list of potential jobs for her when she gets older.
Cooking some yummy soup over the fire.
Another one of Isabella's favorite things in life...gardens.
Rocking away.
They also had a train that took us around the different areas. Isabella never passes up the opportunity to ride on a train!
