Barcelona Day One

We had a great trip to Barcelona to celebrate Isabella's 7th birthday!  It was warm and sunny, which was an added bonus.  We flew RyanAir (which is an adventure with kids, but doable if you're organized and have a game-plan).  When we arrived in Gerona a very helpful taxi driver drove us into Barcelona where we picked up our keys for the apartment we were renting for the weekend.  After resting for a bit we headed out to walk along the Las Ramblas and also saw the famous La Boqueria Market.  Before dinner we picked up a few grocery items at the Carrefour grocery store.  This brought back a lot of memories for Steve and I as we shopped there a lot when we visited Spain with my brother and sister-in-law about nice years ago.  :)

Charlotte on the airplane.  She did surprisingly well.

I don't think we heard a peep out of Isabella and Jack
the whole plane ride.  They enjoyed playing their
DS games, which we save for trips.  :)

The La Boqueria Market.  We only spent a few minutes there the first day,
as it was really busy, but went back the following day to see the amazing
food stands.

Las Ramblas

This shows the kind of mood Jack was in...
