Tannenbaum

We went this afternoon with Jurgen and Jutta to cut down our Christmas tree.  It was a bitter-sweet time as this will more than likely be our last Christmas here in Germany.  The Mullers are hunting buddies with one of the top tree farm owners in our area, so they invited us out again this year to find the perfect tree for our family.  The kids LOVE going to the tree farm, seeing the owners dog, and running around.  This year Charlotte got in on the action and went everywhere the Isabella and Jack went.

After we found the perfect tree we headed a little further into the countryside to see the tree stand that Jurgen built and then head to a cute pond to see the ducks.  The kids had a BLAST and can't wait to go back in the spring.

The hunt for the perfect tree quickly became a "sword" fighting event.

Charlotte walked the whole time.
She has to be wherever her brother and sister are!

Jack's turn.

We will miss the gorgeous scenery.
