Trier

One of our favorite nearby cities is Trier.  With its amazing history, quaint shops, and yummy restaurants it makes for a great day trip!  Nana, Poppy, the kids and I had a great day with gorgeous weather.  We have all been there before, but this was the first time we went into the Cathedral of Saint Peter (Trier Dom).  Trier Dom is the oldest cathedral in Germany.
