Easter

Well, our first Sunday without Steve was Easter, and our last Sunday without him was Easter. We've come full circle. What a year it has been! It was a hard year, yet rewarding. It's so tough saying goodbye to our family and friends in Indiana, yet we are incredibly excited about seeing Daddy in just a few short days. Such different emotions.

As I think back over the past year I smile, cry and laugh. I smile at the accomplishments of the kids and Isabella's love of her school. I cry over the loss of my dear friend Rachel almost 1 year ago now, and I laugh at the crazy things we've done and fun we've had with the cousins.

I couldn't end this post without a HUGE THANK YOU to my parents. Without them, the past year would have been so overwhelming. They let us pretty much take over their entire house with all our stuff, babysat for me so many times when they knew I was near the edge of insanity, loved the kids, and most importantly reminded them each day how much their Daddy loves them. Thank you Nana and Poppy!
